Troy from HVAC Plus arrived and we talked about what would be needed. He
was able to recommend a furnace and AC that were less expensive than others I had been quoted. While some duct work was already in place throughout, I had a concern that
it wouldn't be sufficient to supply the 2nd floor with enough cool air
to make an AC unit worth it. Troy was able to explain that we could pick an AC unit that would supply all the air the duct work could handle, and from there we would need to find other solutions.
Everything was installed in 2-3 days about a week and a half after I agreed to the estimate. It worked well for the first few days but after the first snowfall I noticed that no hot air was coming out of the vents. It was very cold outside so I started to get worried. I called Troy and he was able to come out that morning and fix it. This was early on a Sunday, so I was very surprised that he was so responsive. The error was a simple mistake made during installation, so in that sense it was frustrating but they solved the problem so quickly I have no cause to complain.
